if find it very annoying, that we cant change the PS3 audio volume level!

The XMB and the Games are way too loud!
When i swich from TV, Mediaplayer, Radio or whatever to PS3 my ears almost explode...

i dont understand why we cant adjust the volume output level? every other video, audio device can do this, but ps3 not??

is it possible to make a CFW to do this?
..or can we just change some config files??
..or is it possible with debug options??

i've heard many people complaining about this, would be nice if this gets solved!

Maybe possible to turn up the volume of your other devices to match PS3?

BTW there is a volume adjust in the inbuilt PS3 media player which can help with some volume balancing issues.
Unless it's Carmen Electra calling for an emergency titty f**k I'm not here

yes, i have a harmony, which automatically switches input on tv and powers on and off everything...

..every home entertainment device has a volume output control, so we can adjust it to be on one level.

do you think i always want to turn tv louder when watching tv, quiet it when watching dvd, make it even more quiet when playing a game, make it louder when listening to music, now that is

and for games you usually have Sound settings you can adjust to your liking

same for music, you can also edit the sound via the sub menu

my LG tv does the same for HDMI inputs: it is WAY too loud for them , all other inputs are normal level... it sux but I got used to it, 15-17 volume for other inputs, 3-5 for x360/ps3/pc...
In time, Fire will fade ... and only Dark will remain
