If your router won't let you block WAN access to certain machines (and you can't install a decent router FW on it), then I guess you could try setting both your DNS servers and your default gateway to 1.2.3.4

So all FTP's should be suspended via Gia/Blackbox until further notice? I mean you need to be connected to the internet and this could compromise your box right?

You should be fine just blocking the internet traffic at your router. Change the DNS settings as wutangrza suggested if you don't trust / can't block traffic at your router.
