CFW... nowdays

not trying hijack this thread, but there is no reason for my to open a new one for just this small question. been out of the jailbreak scene for about almost a year and thought ill check back to see what has happend and was surprised to see that 3.55 isnt the newest CFW anymore. anyway after reading this i kinda wanna try rogers 4.30 CFW, but it shouldnt effect the games i have on my HDD now that are patched with 3.55 eboots, right?
im guessing not because otherwise older games wouldnt run on newer roms, but just wanted to make sure.

games will play right away after moving. it was actually one of the questions holding me back from updating from 3.55 too lol

most of my games loaded right up without having to do anything to them. some I did have to fix permissions in multiman again, but for the most part patched eboots don't have to be unpatched or anything

I'm using Rebug 4.21 spoofed to 4.31, along with MM 4.13. No issues playing newer games, except for the occasional prompt from MM to change the PARAM.SFO to 4.25 or whatever the newer games demand. I was going to move to Rogero 4.30 v2.03 but don't really see a reason to right now. Sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone

Ok planning to install cfw kmeaw or Rogero.
Checked my 2nd ps3, it has ofw 3.30, what do you sugegst?
install directly cfw3.55 throgh service menu, or install ofw3.55 first?

you can directly install KMEAW 3.55

BUT, i suggest installing 3.55 OFW then going to KMEAW 3.55, just as precaution

i am a long Kmeaw user. And i thinking of updating after reading this topic... I am having one question. Should i upgrade to official 3.55 before updating to rogero, or can i just install rogero over Kmeaw 3.55?
