This is sweet! I am on 3.41 with PSJAILBREAK and I love it but I have been contemplating upgrading to gain access to PSN for a while! I think this has me sold especially how easy you guys have made this! I am downloading now and I will say thanks in advance. And I will still need to think about updating until its fully downloaded lol.
I will lose all current homebrew that I have on my XMB correct? SNES, Blackbox....ect
first off thanks i'd been out the ps3 scene since using my 360nandflasher on 3.41, so ive got up to the stage to install the manager, i go to install package flles and nothign shows up i did exactly what instructions say :S
i;m using sdcard not usb stick could this be why???
Guess what, luisgarcia87, I am no troll. I am very disappointed at you because of you sad comment on my problem. Thing is my canadian PS3 SLIM 120GB is on a reinstall loop that doesnt even allow me to enter recovery menu. Last night, after I got away from the forums I gave a try on calling PS3 support and they tell me I have to send it there. I am worried, I tried many things and everything I do just loops back to this message at 34%:
"The previous install operation was cancelled. The system is attempting to install again. Don't turn off the system.
After the install operation has completed, the system will automatically restart."
Then it shows this:
ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting
I am guessing that when I installed it from an external hard drive, the system copied itself the .PUP to the internal hard drive and it keeps trying to reach it to install it again.
I was thinking about sending it to a local shop around here to see if they can give me a hand, but I think its impossible for them to know more than psx-scene users anyway.
My recovery menu is simply not working, even though I was at 5.55 OFW before.
If anyone out there with enough knowledge on this system could show me a way to reformat it or start recovery some different way, I dont know, I am begging for help here.
And, BTW, luisgarcia87, dont be ****y just because you created a good thread at psx-scene, like I said before I appreciate your hard work on doing this but calling me a troll just made me very very sad. See for yourself in the picture I posted above.
Well if something went wrong in your installation sorry about that, but as I've stated in past posts "There should be a zero risk of bricking but nothing is guaranteed"
My tutorial its clear and understandable... And pardon me for don't believing you but people who post twice that they come from 5.55 OFW makes me think TROLL
