CFW kmeaw + OFW 3.55 + GAIA 2.05 ready to install pack

Right, got a backup copy of assains creed brotherhood, got my "GAMEZ" folder and put the backup folder in that. The backup game folder is called BLES00910, inside that is a couple more folders and a file.
I have tried to play the game and have managed to load it but I am getting no sound. seems to be ok to play but with no sound--------where am I going wrong?

Its ok, I sorted it, I just forgot to put a random original game in the drive, works good now sound and all.

Hy just a simple question if someone can anwser, I have the original backupmanager and an old gaia manager on my ps3 and also Blackb0x FTP Server 1.2, but am still on the 3.41 fw using my ipod, if i go to this custom firmware, will i still need the ipod or will i stil have to pres power and eject fast? And will my backupo managers and Blackb0x FTP Server 1.2 still work after install?

Hi guys.

I downloaded kmeaw's 3.55 CFW Patched PUP from here. Everytime I try to update the PS3 I get this error message:

"An error occurred during the copy operation (80029C55)"

Anyone got any ideas why this is?

I've got a PS3 slim 320gb, OFW 3.55.

Upgrade to the Kmeaw CFW 3.55..using the files and instructions in the very first post of this thread. You will NOT need your ipod anymore...so feel free to give it to me...lol. Anyways...No...no ipod needed after CFW installed. No you do NOT press "power" and "eject" buttons any more....just power it on like a normal PS3. You DO have to have an original PS3 GAME in the drive...you CAN leave it in the drive at all times...no need to eject it anymore before powering off. You WILL need to update to the newest Gaia and Multiman to get the games to work. Multiman will boot darn near everything so really no need for Gaia unless you just like it. Blackbox you already have 1.2 so that is just fine. Also...just to once again state...any games that you are using a MODIFIED EBOOT.BIN for in order to play on 3.41...you absolutely have to replace with the ORIGINAL EBOOT.BIN for each game or it will not boot. You can not get on PSN...BUT if you have your PS3 connected to an internet connection, when you start a game...if an UPDATE is available...it will tell you and you can download and install the Update...very nice feature of CFW 3.55.

Use a known good source/file...see the links in the very first post of this thread. I have used the files for 3 different systems....flawless every time!

Try reformatting your memory stick/flash drive again...and start fresh.

Thanks but now something else has happened.

I reformatted the USB and things were going good. At 51% the screen blanked out and then another screen came on with an update bar which started from 0%, this screen did not have the normal PS3 background but instead was black with a blue wave image (not animated).

The bar progresses a bit and then the PS3 restarts and I'm still on 3.55.

I tried this twice.

Any idea?

EDIT: I think it's done.

I thought in the system info it was supposed to show 3.55 Kmew instead of just 3.55.

I got sick of trying and decided to play a game and I saw the options /app_home/PS3_game/ and Install Package Files.

Does this mean I've got Kmew working?

What about deleting instaled packs, never done before, how do i do that, I want to uninstall the backup manager now tht i don't need it anymore
