CFW For CECHC03 Help Please

Hey All Whats the best CFW that will work on a CECHC03 U.K I have been using the USB Minmus for some time but id like to upgade to a CFW. will the PS3 Hermes 3.41 CFW (CECHC03 PS3) Work have no clue and I have been looking around but would like some advice if poss thanks all. I don,t want to brick my PS3 so it would be great if you could give me a bit of information I have been looking around here Ts2k2

I have Downloaded
Hermes_3.41_CFW_Pre-Patched_PUP_&_Payload
but not sure if that will work with the CECHC03 PS3 U.K

arr thanks so here my next step i have the OFW 3.41 so now i have to install the CFW 3.41 in Recovery Mode with the holding the power Button and wait till Recovery Mode sceen comes on then put my USB Stick and update to the CFW Sorry to go on but just want to get this right and not mess you PS3 up Bro

Yep, that's exactly what you need to do. Just boot into recovery and have the update file in x:\PS3\UPDATE and install.

kool so no more patching the EBOOT.BIN Files any work work like 3.55 cfw then ! I think !! bro kool if so

You'll still need to patch anything that was made for 3.50 or above. 3.55 CFW has gotten pretty stable now that it has syscall 36 (hermes/pl3 mix) support. If you decide to go that route, just install 3.55 kmeaw's firmware via recovery and then get the newest version of MultiMan (now has a fix to play games that used to blackscreen before). Either way you decide, both are fairly stable and work just fine.
