Carefull with Sun-sky scam and PayPal's "protection", beware –
Long story short:
1) sunsky delivered charger, instead of battery
2) emails ignored
3) paypal dispute emails ignored (now it's obvious, why)
PPs "resolution" (without even contacting me): "we can't verify".
Basically if you get a wooden box, instead of the TV, PayPal "protection" would obviously work the same way.
Too bad PP mofos have next to no alternatives, but I'll try to avoid them, where I can. At least now I know that "protection" is non existent.
It's probably not the best section of the forum to talk about this.
But for what you said +1000000000.
Paypal buyer protection have some HUGE flaws making it look like a Paypal scammer protection.
It only works when you didn't received anything.
An example (happened to me)
If the scammer send a 1$ worth item instead of your 100$ item but with tracking: You will lose your claim since he has the proof he sent you something, and returning the 1$ item will cost you many buck (and the scammer can say he didn't received anything): you are f*cked.
And paypal complain system is too much limitated it's like a binary system, YES/NO... and almost everything is done by bots.
Really a pain in the ass... but that's still the best way to pay on the internet unfortunately... proove me wrong please.
make sure its PP using a creditcard and not actual funds in your acct...that way you have double protection, can file PP and creditcard fraud...ask for chargeback
