Can't launch game from Backup manager

Hi guys,
I just received my ps3key and it's definitely working as intended. I did manage to find some JB games, namely assassin's creed 2.
I installed the ps3 ftp server and uploaded the game to the proper directory, that is dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ/[correct GAME ID]
When I launch the backup manager I do see the game's icon, so that tells me that it's been properly loaded. However when I launch it, it goes directly to the XMB. Is there a step I missed?

My ps3's info:
FAT PS3
80GB hard drive
FW 3.41

Do you have a disc in the drive?

Yes i do have an original in the drive... but you know what? I figured it out.. It does go to XMB and the game is on the dashboard. I thought you could play directly from the back up manager... go figure

I have the same problem/thing, it does show up in BM, i launch it, it sends me back to the XMB and the game shows up there and i can play. Anyone knows how to fix it so i can play directly from BM.

use BM 2.0 or something i know its a different version of BM and u need to have a different payload for your jailbreaking device

EDIT: if it works there is no need to have it launch from inside the BM

Who said I didn't have the original Assassin's Creed 2 and I downloaded the game to test out the ftp server? No piracy here boss man
