Cant get Nier to work!

Hi i am trying to backup the game NIER to my external fat32 usb drive. Ripped it twice, but everytime i try to play it, it gets stuck at the loading screen after starting a new game. Deleted all the game/save data beforehand. I cant rip it to internal as there is no space left.

In the compat list it says both internal and external is supported. I've even crossed checked with an independent list over at ps3news. AFAIK it shud be supported both ways. All my other games ive tried so far has worked.

What gives?

I don't know what to tell you, I've noticed some games lag really, really bad when run from external. I have to let Modnation sit for about 15min when it first loads. Have you tried to wait it out?

Yeah, ive waited it out, but not fifteen minutes! I think i put it on hold for like 20 minutes while using in-game install to hdd option, and 10 for casual game load.
If it doesnt load before waiting half an hour then its unplayable in my book.

Bad compat list!

I read somewhere that the release of Nier that's floating around has a bad file that is 300mb too small or something. If you get stuck on that screen with a notebook, you have that release and it will not work. Time to go rent it.

I had a game get stuck on black screen after launching it from the dash. I just redid the process of turning it off,power and eject. Just letting the jailbreak restart again. Hope that's helps. I've got Nier downloaded but haven't loaded it yet. Let you how that goes.
