Alright so I completely screwed up my ps3 and finally was able to get it to boot again... I accidentally put a modified 3.41 on to update through recovery mode, the one that actually reads as ***** to the ps3. anyways I can't update through the system update because it just says it's corrupted, and I cannot enter recovery mode again to just flash 3.15 and then go back to 3.55... so I'm just wondering if there's a special lv2diag I need for the modified 3.41?

I'm currently trying to use the diag from FILE1 folder that you use to get into 3.55 service mode..

I left recovery mode on the modified 3.41 because I assumed that I cna just update straight to 3.55 from there, but then only to find out that I fail at reading
