Cannot jailbreak - fan very loud

I bought a PSGO GT. Followed the guide and verified the latest update is installed. This is the SLIM model.

1) Update the PS3 into Firmware 3.41 (was on 3.40).
2) Unplug the power cable
3) Plug in the USB Key
4) Plug the power cable
5) Press eject button

Then the PS3 turn on, beep 3 times and the fan runs extremely loud, however the light on the P3 GO does not flash. After a few seconds the PS3 shut down by itself.

I tried both USB ports, nothing else connected. I tried the update.bin as well as using the new psgroove.hex method. Also verified the firmware is indeed 3.41. PS3 works fine without the dongle.

Press the power then the eject button quickly.

After step 4. You should be pressing the power button. Then quickly press the eject button.

Did the PS3 work before doing the jailbreak?
Does the PS3 work in normal mode? Meaning without the jailbreak dongle.

Finally!! I did a few google and none of the guide said something like "plug in your power cable again, then wait for the red light then press power and eject". At first I thought the "power button" refers to the PS3 Fat switch, which I don't have. Then I thought I just have to press power and eject as quickly as possible (before the red light turns on).
