Can you apply updates yet?

Hello,

Ive been looking around and havnt been able to find a clear answer.

Can you apply an update for a game, for example, the update to GRan Turismo 5 Prologue that adds a lot to the game?

Also, does anyone know where you can download these on a PC rather than through the PS3.

I realise there is PSN access through the new HEXs, which is quite a probably way of doing this, however, ive decided to stick with Hermes V4b without PSN support because i dont want to get my console banned, or things it can do restricted.

Yes, you can. GT5:P requires PSN access if you want the update though, it comes from the dev's servers so there's no other way.

Other updates can be downloaded from sony's servers with any update finder program or site and then installed from XMB.
