Can we install PSN games to external drive? Any help

Yes and no. Some games work on external. Some don't. I just found it easier to install a large internal drive and not worry about it.

No yes and no about it ... PSN games cannot be played from external. Internal drive only.

I didn't notice the "PSN" part of the question.

So you play the games you bought from PSN on external? That is what I see is being asked. AFAIK, you can not play games bought from PSN on external.

PSN games are stored in /hdd_0/game/
you can't 'install' anything on external drives, really, it's just where one CAN keep the folders containing the contents of a PS3-bluray game disc (therefore, basically, disc images of PS3 games that the backup managers will 'mount' atop your actual game disc)
