Can a jailbroken PS3 play backups online?

Really simple question. I know on the xbox firmware hack you can still play xbox games online, is the same thing the case with the PS3 jailbreak?

Also can I buy these USB boards at a store like microcenter or do I have to order them online.

Yes you can play online.
It is not recommended as you will get banned at some point.

There is currently a global shortage of boards and chips, they're like gold dust at the moment (They basically weren't ready for the massive surge in demand for them). Someone here might be able to point you in the direction of a retailer/individual who still has a few knocking around though though it is highly unlikely unfortunately.

Teensy boards are available on eBay preloaded for a huge fee of $99, people are starting to make a lot of money out of this
