PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3) 160 GB SLIM CONSOLE & ACCESSORIES! | eBay
Thank you in advance.....
Your best bet is to prob click this http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...orkmastermcgee and ask the seller what firmware it has installed.
There is no way to know for sure what firmware is installed like DCgh0st says, you need to ask him.
The shops should still have some new 3.50 units about if you fancy a new one (I would)
i have been trying to contact the seller but it says
"We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing.".
so how can i contact the seller now????
i would not purchase that hoping you get the right firmware. Just go to a Gamestop and buy a used PS3 and if the firmware is too high, you have a week to return.
If the seller doesn't allow contact then he's a shady bitch and should be avoided at all costs  Purchase that machine at your peril.
I agree wit Sabin1981. If he cant or wont respond to questions then I wouldnt even consider buying anything from him. Imagine how quick he will be to respond to a question AFTER you buy it from him... Prolly Never...
You can also contact him by going on its profile, click "Contact member" and tick "This is not about an item." It lets you message anyone that way :P
Also it doesnt necessarily say this message because the seller doesnt want people to contact them, maybe they have it blocked at certain days or something.
you can contact the seller just fine. Click on the "ask a question" link and it should lead you to the messaging center
I actually bought a fat ps3 from this same seller back in February. Here's my experience in a nutshell.

However, the ps3 he sold me died in 2 weeks. I think the motherboard was fried. I sent it back to him for repairs (I had to pay for shipping), and he said it would only take a day or two to turn it back around. It actually took about a week, and I think the only reason he even fixed things that quickly was because I emailed him about it again after I noticed that about a week had gone by without hearing any word about it being shipped back to me. When I complained to him about it, he got really defensive and made it seem like I was the one in the wrong somehow. Riiiight: "Um, okay man, you clearly stated in an earlier email that there'd be a 1 to 2-day turnaround, which we both have on record, sooooo....."
I just had him give me a complete refund, and I instead went out and bought a new slim at gamestop that night. The slim had 3.50 on it, so I was good to go. I may have had an unusual experience with the guy, and it wouldn't surprise if everything goes fine with you, but just passing on what I know.
