Can I Jailbreak Should I Jailbreak Help?
Can I Jailbreak Should I Jailbreak Help? –
I have a PS3 Slim version 3.61 ( I have had the ps3 before 3.41 came out) am I able to jailbreak it? (Should I do it off a jail-broken iPod or should I buy the dongle... and what one would you recommend to buy)
I'm not looking to play and pirated games.... But I do want to download emulators so I can play the old systems (saga, Nintendo and homebrew) I do play call of duty black ops online... I don't want to get band off the network) Also I want to be able to watch movies without that stupid cinavia protection popping up)
How does it work is it like the PSP: After you do it you just install custom firmware or is it like the IPod you download the newest version then jailbreak it (if so do you lose your downloaded emulators every time you update)
Thanks for reading
Sorry I use to keep up but I stopped so Iím having hard time finding out my questions
So u have a ps3 that's on firmware 3.55 or lower?
If not u can't jailbreak and probably never will be able to..
U can always do like me and a few others and buy a second hand one-
Problem there is ppl know what they are worth.
Cfw ain't the same for PSP and ps3, safari as I'm aware the ps3 is exploitable due to certain firmware software keys that allow unsigned code to be run.
the PSP had the whole battery hack so it is universal.
Hope this helps.
Can you jailbreak? No
Should you jailbreak? Yes
If its just emulators you want, then just get them on your PC
wait hold on here. i have 3.66. i think its the most current on my slim ps3. I cant just downgrade to OFW 3.55 then instal a CFW?
awesome first post!! lol

Please keep it civil. pissxer wasn't offensive or disrespectful in any way. pissxer; we have stickied threads on here that state, quite clearly, that any firmware above 3.55 is currently unexploited. For now you're stuck on 3.66.
