can i jailbreak my fat mgs4 bunle ps3??

i got my ps3 at 2008 sep with metal gear solid4 bundle 80gb.
with ps2 backward compatible..
i havent touch my ps3 since i beat mgs4. its on ofw 2.50
can i jailbreak it??

Get yourself a usb. Put kmeaw on it first. Make a folder on usb named PS3 inside that another named UPDATE inside that stick the kmeaw file renamed as PS3UPDAT. Put your usb in the 2nd hole, boot into recovery mode and select update. After that download multimans latest, install the package..then turn your ps3 off. Now download rogero 4.30 v2.03 and repeat the same steps i gave you for installing kmeaw except in the update folder this time. stick the renamed rogero cfw (PS3UPDAT) make sure you delete the previous one in there. Now youll have psn and the latest games running without patches.

ps3 reboot and system software still said version 3.55
am i in trouble now?

yea you are now on Kmeaw CFW 3.55.
hit the GAME in XMB and look if you can see Install Package along with app_Home .

dont install gaia its out of data install the latest MultiMAN .
and about installing games to from USB HDD or BD to Internal HDD

your games on usb hdd should be on folder GAMEZ or GAMES and then run multiman once the games pops up then press [ ] to copy the game to internal hdd .

hmm if you mean play ps2 games off the HDD then yes if you get a cobra USB dongle but the emulation is crap

if I may say so why not use a good CFW like rebug also if you want to go to a 4.30 CFW grab the latest version of multiman first

but update to 3.55 CFW then to any 4.30 CFW but I recommend rebug 3.55.3
