can i get some advice about p3go?

My friend recently referred me to get p3go because it's moderately priced and he said that it works well. He got the ps3key but it's not reliable as sometimes it doesn't turn on. so i went to look for p3go and found this site that sells it.
P3Go GT-Break G-Switch PS3GO GT-Break Modchip for PS3

Is this a good price for it? Also, is p3go the right way for me to go? I'm new to the ps3 jailbreak scene so I'm not sure what to do. I'm at firmware 3.42 at the moment and just looking for a good modchip to get. thanks for your help!

You are at system menu 3.42, and you need to be at 3.41 in order to use the jailbreak.

I would wait until you can find a working downgrade method, and buy that one. Right now, some of the downgrade methods are experiencing bugs.

P3GO is one of the best JB on the market, I haven't have any issue with it at all works perfectly.

not some all on certain systems

Well it don't matter now , downgrade is avialible now for firmwire 3.50 and below.So it is one if not the best jb device now, comes with great support and quick updates, also open source.

I love mine. I paid about the same ($26) price. It has never failed me. I just used it to downgrade my new PS3 slim from firmware 3.42 to 3.41 and had no problems and the blu-ray player still works.
