can i downgrade

i have a slim ps3 the model console is CECH-2504B 1A Datecode so i want to now if its possible to downgrade it to 3.55 cuz i saw that the CECH-2504B 1b Datecode have METLDR 2 (BTW when igot the ps3 it had 3.56 OFW)

I think those are one of the new systems, when was it manufactured, and you can't downgrade from 3.56, you need to upgrade to 3.70 and then downgrade to 3.55 firmware. Look around, it might help you.

I think you need to ask yourself the question, why you want to downgrade. If it's because you want to play games from an external USB drive, then my advice is don't bother. You'll not be able to play any new releases if you do.

hey TitanTX does that mean i can downgrade using E3 flach end i do have it on 3.70

I suggest you stay away from a downgrade and buy a separate PS3 that is specifically for your gaming purposes, i.e custom firmware. Look around in the buy, sell and trade section or go look around on craigslist to see if they a 3.55 or below console. That is your only option right now, and your best bet.
