Call Of Duty Black Ops2 20.0.-1 // ban ??//

Hi,

I played Call of Duty Black Ops2 Today. I went Online and played a game. After that i wanted to quit but the game freezed. At this time I looked at the Version of the game, which was something with 22.... I gues.
I turned of the Ps3 and then turned it on. But then the Version of the game changed to 20.0.-1 and I cann't play the game online anymore but I can go psn.
I think that that means, that I'm baned from Black Ops2.
Now I would like to know if that's true or not.
Can someone help me?
I searched a bit at the internet and found some articles about beeing banned. I also read, taht everyone who play the game before the official release online, will be banned.
Does anyone here have the same problem ?
I am really loking forward for your response.

I don't know why you would be banned. Not a lot is known about Sony and banning, the only case I read of Sony gave the guy a chance to stop using CFW before banning, but other than that....

I think you're fine, at the very least keep playing BO2, you already played it, so if they're going to ban you, well, too late, you already played it, so playing it more won't hurt. Of course, I doubt you'll be banned for doing so.

I cann't play online Black Ops2 anymore. That's the problem. I can play the game but not online.
And I'm not banned from the PSN. I think at the moment, that it will be possible to play the game when the game is released officially in my country. But we'll see.
At the moment, I would be very happy if anyone can help me find an answer.

Why would you be playing it online before an official release date? That's like telling them "Look at me! I bootlegged this game! Please come ban me!"

You should be fine, but I'd keep the game offline until after the 13th

It's possible you were banned from the black ops 2 servers, it has happened b4 www computerandvideogames com /285895/ps3-firmware-356-bans-black-ops-hackers since i can't post links

Yeah, why would you play it before the official release? That's probably the easiest way to get banned. This kind of thing happens a lot on the Xbox 360 scene too.

Hate to say this but you deserve to get banned due to the fact you are playing a game 2days prior to released.
98% of bans are due to lack of common sense . If you are banned you brought it on yourself you would of bleneded in if you played the game on release date but you played it early.

Your more than likely banned. When the first black ops was leaked poeple tried to play online a week early before its release date resulting in getting there self banned. I my self am playing black ops 2 but i disable the network completely to prevent any sort of communication to there server or $ony until release date.
