Nobody here can give you a definitive answer on this one, the smart money will be on the fact that this game was not compiled with the 3.50 SDK meaning - you may not be able to play this game streight away but you can bet your bollocks that there will be a fairly swift fix out.

With that being said, doesn't this game feature heavy online play? If so then expect to only be able to take advantage of limited features if you're dead set on jailbreaking your PlayStation 3 console.

I was an avid player of both COD: modern warefare 2 and Killzone 2 -- I made the decision to jailbreak and I really - really - really - f'king really miss online. Really.... (well KZ2 online anyway)

With a title like this, if you're passionate about homebrew then you'll most likely have to sit it out. (unless I missed something)

the game may be big for online play, but it still has a fun single player and it still has system link and local multi player. as far as system link is concerned, xlink kai works great

atleast with the 360 there are a bunch of games going on in kai under the mw2 section. more people playing it then m2 players and msot of them are jtaggers which are even smaller in quantity.

i imagine if this game somehow did work (would be funny if it did.. would kinda show they want it to be pirated in one way or another, or they just want to make sales off people who do only own jailbroken consoles).. there will be people playing it on kai.
PIC based jailbreakers please visit my thread below and please READ. I have spent a few hours now trying to explain everythign as best I can here. You will also find my latest HEX releases there as well.

i pre-ordered before i got jailbroken ps3 was only $49 cad vs $59 or w.e it will be on launch day. Yeah online play would be nice, but apparently it has a zombies mode which should be multilayer offline which is why i want it idc about the online too much. The single player is always short anyways. zombies is endless fun to bad modern warfare didn't have it.

More people playing it than M2 players? I don't get that part >_<

As for the rest of your post; indeed. Even though I abhor COD and FPS games (and online play for that matter!), for some reason this latest one looks interesting to me and I may make a Kai thread to ensure as many people get on board as possible, as it doesn't seem very active at the moment (I haven't tried it though, but it just seems like no one is playing otherwise there would already be a thread!).

It's funny we've had online play all along, as long as the game in question has LAN, but hardly anyone has been using it. Hopefully the number of PSJB users will equate to that of the JTaggers on Kai.

Also a further funny thing is that if you have any friends who have updated PS3s and you want to play against them, that's possible since Kai is independent of the jailbreak. Back in the PSP days it was useful for playing local only games online (Like GTALCS). Sony have their own version of that called AD-HOC Party now, run through the PS3.

Put in some made up DNS settings on the PS3 side. Your PS3 doesn't have to be connected to the internet, only to the LAN. But of course the computer running the Kai client will have to be connected to the internet.
