Call of Duty 5 World at War JB question. I have done research. Nothing working!

This is a serious question, I have done everything as other people said. Nothing works.
I need someone who had played JB backup of COD5 (World at War) to answer me, why mine backup is not working. I hit black screen all the time.

I am using Hermes 4B, my firmware is 3.41.

I have a legit copy of COD5 WaW. Disk id is BLUS30192.

This is what I did, exactly as other people said on INTERNET.

I booted up my PS3 in normal mode, insert my legit WaW disk. I started game in BlueRay disc. It asked for an online upgrade to 1.07. I did. The upgrade package was installed on my PS3's hard drive successfully, in SONY default internal folder. I checked, the updated data were there.

Then I booted up my PS in JB mode, kept legit WaW CD in blue-ray driver, run OM to backup game from Blue-ray drive to internal HDD, it copied all 12G to default folder OMAN46756. Everything is backed up.

I launch WaW from HDD0 using OM. It goes black screen every time.

I noticed other people claimed that they can play this game using above method, does it only apply to Europe version? Did I miss any step?

I also noticed all upgrade data is in PS3 default folder, and back up game data is in OMAN46756.

I have provided information as detailed as I can. Please help me!

You have a disc in the drive correct?

The method I used, was downloading the debug update 1.07. Then it runs fine from internal but ONLY with a disc in the drive.

I had a orig COD5 disc in drive. Black screen! I have tried using online 1.07 update and off line 1.07 pkg update. Nothing worked.

When you said, with a disc in the drive, did you put COD5 disc or any PS3 game disc.

u should try with another manager, u can put any game in the drive even the legit copy to boot from. also there might be a chance the game didnt copy properly. but usually the black screen is fixed with the 1.07 update patch.

delete all updates you have instaled and anwsome update finder to get the debug update and instal it in ps3 and then run the game
this was what i did and it worked pretty fine ahh ps you need to have the backup in internal disk to run

I can provide some additional info, which might be helpful.
This time, I did not back up Blue-ray game CD. I loaded legit game disc directly from Blue-ray drive in Open Manager interface, then I quited OM to main manu, started game there, my PS3 went black screen.
It is obviously, even my legit COD5 disc can't be launched using OM interface.

Erase all of that crap you did.

In jb mode install the update 1.07 using an ftped package update (do not use disc).

Now using open manager copy the game to your internal hard drive.

Now launch the game.

Never use the app folder to start the game. Start the game via disc icon.

If you did what I said it will work

hi i am having problems getting this game to work as well. i have just got my ps3 and installed jailbreak 3.55 and multiman i have copied waw to the internal hardrive and i have used the disc to download the 1.07 update. when i load the game in multiman it just takes me to a black screen and then back to the ps3 main menu. im new at this and ive been trying to get this to work for days and reading allot of stuff that isnt helping, can someone please help me out?
