Buy it or not?

Hello people i just want an opinion :)

the thing is that some one here in my city sells a ps3 with broken bluray drive for 50 bucks... yeah 50 us dollars he says that the ps3 works perfect i mean the rest of it , it turns on , you can sign in psnetwork , play psn games etc but as i said it dont read bluray discs.

i want that ps3 to try psjailbreak but as far as i know you need an original bluray disc to make psjailbreak work

the question is... do you think that there will be a way (homebrew) to make psjailbreak work without the bluray?

i already own a full working ps3 but since it will get patched and you possibly get banned from psn network i want another ps3 but dont wanna spend much on it :chinscrat
