Burnout Paradise + PSX Store? Help!

I have Burnout Paradise in a orignal disc, but my internet is really really bad. I was wondering if I could download patch 1.90 from PSX-Store and install it?

I have a PS3 Slim 250gb with 3.55 OFW.
