Burning/playing Backups to/from a Blu-ray disk ?

1. This isn't practical. Why do that when you could just save the game to your hard drive?
2. Using cheap media could burn out your laser faster

Hello

1.) It is practical for me, I have three play stations in my house, and It would make things easier for me if I could just have all my backup games in a CD wallet and play them as and when I need them, instead of having to move an external drive and some games only run from internal.
2.) I would only use quality verbatim Media if it was possible.

I believe, in few years maybe when the single empty BR will drastically drop its price.
But like mrelectro said, its not practical at the moment and very costy.

Its easy to keep a copy of your games on a big 1/2To external hard drive and play them/export them on any console you want.

I don't think this will be possible through custom firmware, only 360 style drive flashing or a hardware mod.
