is there any way to run backups without the disc even with older meneger i tried gaia v2.7 and 2.2 and failed any help whold be much appreciated

I think you'd be better off with Multiman and install the BDEMU2.pkg and use the Hermes payload (option can be found at the bottom of the settings menu in XMMB view). Apparently this has better compatability for games to run diskless. Some still don't unfortunaltly but a good number do. You then need to run the games from the option above "*Install Package Files"....I think it says something like "*app_home"

i have tried this method and it dident work i am on 3.55 and spoofed to 3.60 does it meter do i need to spoof my fw
and could my ps3 has some problem other then the broken drive that can cause this kind of problem games load--black screen---back to xmb
