I was on 3.41 with BM installed and some homebrew.
Bricked my PS3 with Waninkoko cfw.

    now my question:

When i send my bricked PS3 to $ony, witouth the HDD.
What can they see in the log?
Do they see that i used a BM and also bricked my ps3 with CFW?
If they see it... do i have to worry about consequences?

    thanks for your help!

The worst consequence is that they refuse to repair it for you

They won't even check beyond making sure it's an intact PS3, they'll just send you a refurb and bill you for it.

forgot to add, that i'm out of warrety, so i think they will just send me a new ps3.
so there is no risk, that they get mad on me and bring me to court?

You certainly aren't going to get this fixed for free from Sony and if you do then you are the few lucky enough to pull off this scam but if you are able to, then by all means go ahead and try. It hardly seems worth it to even check to see HOW you ****ed your PS3 up or to keep tabs on you over this. They will just do what Derr said and send you a refurb.

I doubt it. They just won't fulfill the service at worst. Assuming they check at all, if you're out of warranty and paying for it they probably don't care.

I live within 15 minutes of a Sony Repair center and this is what they do upon receiving a system. (I brought a PS2 and PS3 in for repair)

    1) They hook it up and boot to see if it can be repaired on site immediately. If it can, they repair and send it back to you.

    2) If it can't be repaired on site, they give you a refurb and repair it later

In your case, they might refuse you service if they see you screwed up your NAND by flashing custom firmware. (Like that guy who brought in his PS3 covered with dust, they would argue negligence and refuse you service)

My cousin works at the Sony refurb centre, and they very rarely repair the console. All they do is swap over faulty parts. So all they would do is replace your mb. Make sure you send the console without the hdd though. Sony would recommend you to send it to them without the hdd. You will be ok trust me.
