Bricked Iphone becouse of Psfreedom? O.o –
Im little bit scared so please help me fast...
Well i have problems since 4 days, i cannot start PS3 games, but this doesnt matter atm.
What i did: i was in the screen where you can choose what you should boot (appleOS or Android for jailbreaking PS3) and gone one too far and started installing. I was not into waiting so i did a hard reset (home n power), now my iphone doesnt start at all. The iphodroid doesnt seem to see this as recovery mode. In Itunes when i hold the power 3 sec, then power n home 12 seconds and only home after that, it recognizes it as a Iphone in emergency mode. Well but it gives me only the possiblity to set it to normal settings and update to latest version, which cannot be jailbroken .
Please help me ;o
Oops i got it i think, all to do is to hold down shift key while pressing the Restore button on itunes and then choose a firmware on your PC.
You can jailbreak 4.1 with limera1n or green poison.
You actually have to do the install in order to dual boot with open iBoot between the IPhone OS and the droid jailbreak. At least I did on my 2G anyway. If you are using oneshot "iphodroid" when the install is completed the iphone OS will come up in recovery mode. What I did was just restart iphodroid and click the exit recovery button.
EDIT: I just read your post a second time. You said you were not into waiting for the install??? My 2G only took about 45 secs to do the install.
Thats what you get for being impatient
You can try a DFU restore and see if that works.
When you are in iTunes shift click the update button and you can select the IPSW that you downloaded
If you are using a Windows PC be sure and hold shift while you click update. This will allow you to browse for IPSW.

And thats for being a Geyz0rd....
Now he's gonna have to wait more than 45 seconds to install the IPSW again ….its VERY hard (if not almost impossible to actually "Brick" an iPhone….if Restore don't work, chances are, DFU mode will)
