Blu-Ray problems?

Not sure if its just me, and I've searched the forums as well as checking the last 15 pages by hand, but I can't seem to find another post regarding this...

When I start my ps3 via dev mode - go play some super mairo bros 3 and then move on to watching a blu ray - i get either a green screen or black screen and am forced to restart my ps3 in regular mode and from there the blu ray works...

My question - is this normal? am I just being to lazy for not wanting to have to restart my ps3 every time i switch between games and blu-rays?

Ya know, I never bothered trying to watch a blu-ray from hacked mode. I got the same setup as you do except I'm using Hermes v4b on my XPLAIN. I'll try it when I get home in a little bit and try to post back to ya.

Ok, I just tried it on my PS3 40gb phat w/ 3.41 using an XPLAIN w/ Hermes v4b with 2 different blu-rays and both booted up to a green screen once launched.

Guess the only way to watch blu-ray is boot into regular mode.

Are you both using HDMI cables to play games/watch movies?

I'm wondering if the JB process might be causing HDCP problems... which would explain why the movies don't work. Hm, might have to dig out an A/V cable and try it...

just select the bluray in the manager and then launch it, it will play fine.

Whats your setup? and what manager? if you mean the xmb then thats a no go for me.... ... selecting a blu ray movie from the xmb while in the hacked enviornment locks my ps3 up till i do a hard reboot.

I just tried this, I pick the empty space on top, it loads the xmb, I go to video and choose the movie. It gets as far as the white spinning disk icon. Then stops, and I have to shut down.

Can someone else try this? I used the later multiman version, and hermes v4b.

I get a similar problem with zombieland but my other blurays work fine. Does inception have the ability to connect to the psn for a digital download?

Yes, WB Live or something like that, wants the internet when I click it (the box definetly says on it that you can get the digital download). You think that could be it? Unfortunately I don't have any other blurays to try out at the moment.

switch your payload to PL3 NOUNAUTH, unfortunately no peek & Poke so some home brew won't work
