Blu rays work on Kmeaw cfw
They also work fine if you search a little bit. This is how you get them working on Waninkoko's CFW or kmeaws (if you've already run lv2.pkg)
1. Put blu-ray movie into PS3
2. Open BM
3. Goto blank spot on screen where it would normally show the game disk inserted. Select X to load, so no to directboot
4. Goto Video XMB to disk icon and load.
I'm on kmeaws CFW and using the latest multiman v1.13.04 (which I thought had lv2 built into it). I inserted the bluray and in multiman will not copy or load! The title of the movie is actually all red/orange as well????? Maybe something to do with the new java bluray discs? As this disc is one of those.
Same with all bluray titles? Have you downgraded before? If so has it worked since downgrading?
What happens if you boot up without applying the LV2 patch and try to play a disc?
I believe my PS3 is an early model phat 80gb and yes i use to use a PS3KEY and downgraded from 3.something or other to 3.41 and then used the spoof to 3.55. Of course this was before the new cfw's were released. Then I went to OFW>Kmeaw CF(via recovery)> multiman v1.13.04 (which I believe has lv2 included). All games work fine to (internal and external)???????
same thing will not play!!! error says machine not authorized to playback bluray.... And I did do the authorize through account management.
Obviously you didn't read all the warnings about losing blu-ray playback on phats if you downgrade. Now you'll need to know the last movie you played in your PS3 and do the blu-ray playback recovery method outlined in the forums.

You owe chech a drink for pointing you in the right direction ;)
Happened to loads of people. It is only the earlier models with the bigger NANDs that are affected. Nothing will fix it apart from fixing the DRL files that get corrupted when putting a fat into service mode/downgrading
