Your welcome, glad to here you got it sorted out. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
I didnt want to start a whole other new thread so Im gonna continue on this one... Just switching topics a little bit.
I have a 500GB internal Hdd. And when I first JB my PS3 a few years ago I managed to double copy some games trying to get them to work and after a while it got to where I had no idea what was what. None of the folder names were descriptive, Stuff like BSUS9811011 or something. So long story short, I want to reformat the Hdd and start over fresh. I dont care if I save any of the info except my 4.30 Rebug that I just got working. (Thanks qwillis). I actually do have copies of my games so that wont be a problem. Is there a way to reformat the Hdd without taking it out of the PS3?
I had a similar issue at one point. The easiest thing might be for you to just delete your GAMES or GAMEZ folder on the internal in dev/hdd0 , I would imaging most of them are in one of those two folders (stay away from "game" as this is a system folder). If its not a total mess another option would be to go into the game's directories and look for a file called param.sfo. If you open this in notepad on a PC it will tell you in the text what game it is and you might be able to rename it to something like BLUS12345-[Game Name]. I went thru my list and did this after i noticed Multiman started to use this naming method automatically when ripping them.
If you really just want to start fresh and re-format you can go into Settings> System Settings> Format Utility
If your console is an older fat model this should be all you need to do, but if its a slim you will need that Rebug firmware update on your USB stick for it to finish the installation (for slim consoles some of the firmware files go on the hdd and not the regular flash chip). If your flash dump was 256MB you won't need to do this (slims only have 16MB).
