black screens on kmeaw 3.55

I've tried searching google plenty but there's so much old info out there its hard to know what I do/don't need to do anymore.

I was running games off 3.41 and the old usb hack, and I decided to dive into CFW.

I installed OFW 3.55, kmeaw 3.55, bdemu, then multiman 1.16.11 .

When I load any backup, the ps3 restarts as normal, shows the game on the blu ray disc and app_home, but when I launch it I just get a black screen. I am still able to quit out of game. I have tried a few games, and they used to work before. Any ideas?

if u playied games that u changed the EBOOT.BIN from 3.41+ to 3.41
use the original EBOOT.BIN it sometimes can make black screens as it happent with COD..

I have not tried starting the "Black Screen" games from multiMAN. For the fix: deank's .

[START]+[DOWN] - Decrease playback volume

[START]+[ ] - stop music playback (for mp3 and background theme audio)

I use Rogero v8.2. I just press R3.

and : AlexDC22's ((200) Backups That Work On 3.55 Kmeaw) to see which are "BS" games.

You can also use multiMAN to fix permissions, I am not sure which button that is though.

with black screen games just try select+x that shud fix them it dus for me.

What ended up working for me is moving all my games out of the old LUA12345 or whatever it was folder and into the GAMES folder, then letting rogero repair permissions.

I had previously tried letting multiman fix permissions on individual games but it didn't work.

What also works is if you have old install data on from 3.41 jailbreak is to delete it and let the game reinstall. Sometimes instead of giving you an error it just black screens. I know you fixed the problem, just saying this as reference to other people.
