Big Mistake and now back to 3.50...help!!!

Ok, so I got stupid and whent into PSN, that got updated my PS3 to 3.50... ok, I just bought the E3 Card Reader to downgrade... but I read somewhere that when I downgrade I will lose all the games that I have on my internal drive. DOes anyone know of a way to Backup my internal drive, while I'm on 3.50?
Also, does anyone know if the X3MAX is out already with the 3,50 Jailbrake?

1 if you upgraded then you can't get the games off you HD..Don't hold me to that but i think you need to be in JB mode to get your games.

2.No X3MAX haven't released anything yet.

If you have a PHAT machine, you will not lose anything. -- You should not on SLIM either, but I hear reports that some SLIM's do, their is THREE different models of slim's out there. -- You should be able to downgrade using another hard drive temp. also, and then just put your original back in, but it might ask to redo the update again, but that way you would for sure not lose any data.

And finally NOPE, no current updated info on the x3max, last was a it be released in a few days or less, so until that becomes an actual "bird in the hand", the E3 is your best hope for full enjoyment of your PS3 console right now.

The E3 doesn't format your hdd the psdowngrade does so your safe. I take it you haven't read the readme yet for he E3 lol

I stand corrected it seems. Hope it doesn't happen to me on my PS3 slim. It was a 120gb model so not sure which model it was.

Ok thanks... I have read the readme on the E3 I've even downloaded all files needed to downgrade... But I think I read something in PS3-Hacks.net about loosing everything in your HD when you downgrade.

Just put the games back on your hard disk afterwards using your original disks if you lose them.

you could try backup utillity inside PS3 system menu, I know it backed up my games when I changed HDD's

I think they will backup if they are under /hdd0/Game/OM/*** as the backup util will think its just game data.

but if its in the root of hdd i'm not sure....

is true as I keep nothing on root, all my backups are saved manager folder under GAMES
