Big dilemma –
10-24-2012,12:25 PM
Okay, so I noticed a jailbreak came out for 4.X and that is great! I just have this problem. My PS3 is currently on 4.25 but obviously I can't jailbreak because I don't have 3.55. Now my PS3 asks me to update to 4.30 but I am scared later something will be released for 4.25 or something and 4.30 patches something. Now, I also have a PS3 with 3.60 on it and I'm not sure if I can do anything with it. I also have an 3.55 PS3 with YLOD. My questions are, should I update my 4.30 PS3 or keep it on 4.25? Also, can I just replace my 3.60 hard drive with the one of the 3.55 and will I then have a jailbroken working PS3? Or is the jailbreak part in the chip and not in the hard drive? If that is the case, can I get it to work and do a data transfer to my 3.60 PS3 from my 3.55, will my 3.60 be jailbroken? I hope you guys can answer some questions here.
