BEWARE Kmeaw 3.55 upgrade from 3.41 with non working DVD

If you have a non working Blueray drive and modded eboots it is not worth it. I upgraded to Kmeaw 3.55 from 3.41 sounded great no more jailbreak dongle taking up the USB, easy start up, no restarting the power switch. Half my games that worked fine on 3.41 black screen on 3.55. I had some modded eboots that of course didn't work but even going back to original didn't work. tied all managers, thank god for the downgrade software, i've downgrade back to 3.41 and every game works fine, wasted hours of time for nothing, I wish I would have read a thread like this! would have saved a big headache.

Well all the info is on this site and many others, you just had to read and do a little homework
cfw 3.55 kmeaw works fine if you own the games, all rips that i have made have worked, and, so in reality is your fault for not searching

Not attacking just stating the facts, dont want others to start asking stupid questions when they have already been answered.

Have you tried Hermes 3.41?...Works beautiful...plus no dongle needed / save circuitry on power switch...i recommend it 100%. I have been considering the updgrade to Kmeaw 3.55 but have chosen to stay 3.41 Hermes just in case my blue ray ever dies I still have a PS3 that plays games. Plus you just cant f*#k with a Hermes payload :-)

do OF FW 3.55 before waninkoko v2 then install rogero 3.41 7.8 run fix permissions power cycle ps3 go launch backups in manager will ask to patch do it. job done, compatibility is better than hermes 4b dongle. also kokov2 fw does not disable your bluray drive. This is also backups off the internet i am talking about and not rips from games that shits takes way too long and stresses the bluray laser so **** that!

Also if you ****ed up kmeaw you may be best leaving it on 3.41 as you oviously suck!
