What's the best USB dev board to get?
Marcan is currently working on a Linux loader of some sort which he says will require at least 64K to run the exploit, so this rules out anything with less than 64K programmable flash. (eg. teensy 2.0, minimus AVR, etc.)
I've got the AT90USBKey which has 128K flash and uses the Atmel controller (Seems to be the favourite for devs working on the psgroove/homebrew scene, so the ports for Atmel always seem to be first out)
The ipod/sansa rockbox psgroove port has alot of people working on it (So any new forks/exploits would hopefully be ported pretty quickly), and obviously you've got plenty of room for the exploit code (whatever the size of your MP3 player is lol) If you've got one of the supported devices, you could consider this as another option.
I'd try to get an Atmel board with largest flash possible,
Does any MP3 work on it? I have a Philips MP3 that I'm not using.
Don't remember where did I read about breaking with Bluetooth Dongle... If dongle like that would work doesnt it mean that it would count in also dongles like Wlan receivers & Wireless mouse & keyboard receivers?
Any info about this?
The Teensy++ would work too but AT90USBKEY has the benefit of having 2x8MB flash chips on it so space won't be an issue with it.
But the problem with Teensy and every AT products is that they are out of stock global.
I have the minimus AVR and it is also an AT90USBKey and uses the Atmel controller.
