Hi guys.
Which one is the best .pkg maker ?
I want to conver my games to run directly from the XMB but i'm bored to patch them manually.![]()
Use deans ebootfix it will make game pkg's to install to HDD. Will be in the first post in the multiMAN thread
I tried it before i post but it don't help a lot.
It seems that it run the games ad diskless and they have many problems.![]()
I tried the multiman fix last night and it was a no go for me too. It finished making the PKG ok and I followed all the steps to a T but everytime i tried to boot i got a black screen.
I noticed for the PKG it does not tell you what to do with the 2 modded eboots it puts in the DATA folder. Logically I tried it once without since the instructions say nothing about them. Then I tried once replacing the eboot in my game folder then trying the Shadow Copy. Also when I shadow copy after installing the PKG, it always prompts do, you have game data already installed in such and such folder, would you like to overwrite. I tried once with yes, once with no. Same result.
If anyone has gotten this tool to work please give me a breakdown of the exact steps used as maybe the instructions are lacking something...

Probably you didn't follow the instructions exactly.
After the pkg installation you must run the multiman and create a shadow of the game. Not move the game files inside this folder.
Anyways it work for me but as i said it run the games as diskless and they have a lot of problems.![]()

lol..

If you know of a decent set of instructions it would be great if you could point me in the right direction. I'll give it a go. I just can't find any decent instructions to make a PKG...My eboot is for one of the games is already modded so i dont really know what more I can do by just modding the eboot more. The other game is the one I tried this tool with and it was a no go.
@nickxab - Yes i did try it once without using those files and once with them. I also did the shadow copy procedure each time as well as the instructions say to.
I think these 2 games are just problem games that require a disk on 3.55. The select + X option does not work on these either

lol..

Is there a simple way to repackage pkgs into a format that would work with 3.55 Waninkoko V2 CFW?
