Been away for a while, still on 3.41, best JB/FW options?

Hey guys, you probably get this question a lot less frequently, but I'm still a holder-on to the 3.41 FW and JB with a Sansa MP3 player. I stopped playing the PS3 for a while, life happened, but now I want to upgrade the internal HDD and with the future in mind am thinking about what my options are as far as which FW I should upgrade too. I understand the CFW Kmeaw 3.55 is pretty popular and if that's the consensus here I'll probably go with that, but before I update past 3.41 I obviously want to make the right choice and be as careful as can be for something like this.

Basically, I would like to connect to PSN if possible without eventually getting banned, but it's not that crucial. However, I would really like to play newer games. The newest game I've played on my PS3 is Dark Souls and I was able to edit the PARAM SFO file to make it work. From what I understand you can't do that under 3.55 so I'm a little apprehensive. I also wish to understand the implications of updating to 3.55, if all else fails could I go back to 3.41 without buying some flash dongle? Any help or suggestions or links would be appreciated. Thanks all.

I'm in the same boat too.
But I was wondering if 4.30 Rogero would be a better CFW?

go with the latest version of rogero or rebug

it allows PSN

it allows all game updates to work without patching

it allows all games to work without patching

it is stable

better hardware support and new ofw features.

what more could you ask for ? lol

3.41 is long dead, it died when geohot shared 3.55

Dude.. Your sig is saying that 3.55 OFW is the greatest, while 4.30 Rogero 2.03 is the worst... haha

haha I think the operators were meant to represent arrows not mathematical symbols. maybe should change it to this ->
