Well Sony included something in FW 3.50 that blocked 3rd party USB controllers, including the Bannco Frangnstein Mouse/Grip controller.

Within 12 hrs, Bannco released a firmware re-enabling the usb controller. 4 weeks later, still waiting for PS Jailbreak team to re-enable Jailbreak on 3.42 and 3.50 already came out.

    Just saying...

Also, PS Jailbreak team is gone along with the preorder money.

Like I said on the other thread, no reason for the PS jailbreak to make anymore backup managers since people are just gonna download it and use it on cheaper clones.
When you have a question google got the answer.

Wow its amazing you can really see what people are doing when you're not there to talk to them or im gonna take a huge stab in the dark and say you dont personally know anyone over at psjailbreak.com aye? Yeah didn't think so. You know NOTHING nobody really does. Site has been gone for less than 24 hours. Lol iv seen a lot of sites do down for a week and come back up its magical it can happen. So stop with the 12 year old remarks making out you know something when you only THINK something happened.

Wow calling someone a 12 year old, I never heard that one before

If everyone cloned something you developed before you can even release your own product, it's hard to going and continue to make software that people are just gonna download and use it on a cheaper clone. I highly doubt PSJB is gonna put anything new on the table. Especially with the ridiculous claim that it would work on 3.42 and have PS2 support (at least claimed by other sites).

its just ironic, thats all. Hackers hacked other hackers code and open-sourced it.

If you ask me, thats great, you should be compensated for your work, but 150 for a 2 dollar usb dongle? Little rediculous. Plus they were offering nothing but empty promises... mkv support and NTFS? lol.

I come from the xbox hacking world and just recently dusted off my old 40gb psfat and jailbroke it, but the guy who wrote all the cfw for 360 (c4eva) has never charged a penny for his fw. These dudes should be charging for the equipment, and the equipment alone.

I find the biggest difference between the Wii/Xbox scene and the PS3 scene is that I can go out right now and buy a Wii or Xbox 360 and hack it. But in 3 months time, I won't be able to do that for the PS3. (Since they will all come bundled with 3.42)

its definitely more stable and permanent on that side of the world, but Im giving the ps3 the benefit of the doubt because its so new. Hardware exploits will always be the simplest to block, software/fw isnt a whole lot better as it can be detected (iX all the way through 1.6) and shitlisted, and I expect to get the hammer on LT sometime in the coming months, as its about that time. Its not so different in the sense that M$ would roll out new drives to attempt to stop the dumping of the key (ie Liteon 83450v2 and 93450), however they seem to roll out solutions to these problems a little quicker then what ive seen around here. Not complaining, as Im not a dev, and if I cant do it myself, Im certainly not talking shit

Hopefully within that three months, the devs will find a way to manipulate the FW to where the sony FW version wont matter, period.

You act like a 12 year old and you will be called one. You go around saying you KNOW stuff when you probably don't even know how old the pants you got on are. They never made claims they were RUMOURS. Not once did they say they would support them. They were all rumours made up by different websites. It was more of a WISH list not a features list.

    1. MKV support was never anonced by psJailbreak team it was a rumour. NTFS was the next logical step. They never charged for BM so why you going off on one about they should only charge for equipment?

There hasnt been huge ban waves every year. It took MS 3 years to fully detect IX. There is nothing to prove that LT will be detected this year. There was bans between 3 years ago and when the last ban wave happened. Those were down to stupidity of people going online with games 3 weeks before release and such then people thinking it was a ban wave.

Wow i am actually not sure how to take that comment. Be grateful that you can hack it now maybe? Go buy another one and run around with joy?

    --------------------------------------

So many people are ungrateful for the exploit and think something is owed to them. No wonder people don't want to release exploits when there are people like that who think the scene OWES them a hack. Think of the time and money that goes into finding these exploits and remember that you didn't spend a penny to find them.

Not to mention with the Xbox 360 you can only hack the DVD drive on off-shelf models, you still can't run homebrew, XBLA backups, DLC, or games off the HD without a disc. Which makes me sad I'm just happy I hit the PS3 hacking bandwagon at the right time
