Backup manager questions

So i have the original psjailbreak , and since i ve read into their site that i had to use backup manager i used it without searching for other managers.


So i have installed Fallout New Vegas and Resistance 2 and i can play those games fine, problem is that i can't update them. Once i finish downloading and installing the updates i get "an error has occured , can't install updates"and then i go back to the main screen.

So is there a way to update the games with backup manager?

If not the psjailbreak dongle is compatible with the other managers?

If yes , can i move the games in the console and put them in the other manager's folder?

Also i ve read about Assassin's Creed Brotherhood workaround and i would like to know if it's possible with Backup Manager

Hey today i have some spare time so i ll try it out.

I wanted to know a couple of things as far as it concerns updating games

I ve seen that i can update games without signing in PSN. PRoblem is that i can't install the updates since i have some kind of error after installation is complete.

1)IS this because backup manager doesn't permit patching games ?
2) Is it because i am doing something wrong?
3) It it because my payload (original psjb) sucks?
4) Other managers allow patching games?

I am looking for a way to update games via console without having to get them of some site, then put them on the usb and then install them etc etc :P

5)Also i am using ftp server to move things around. Ftp server doesn't allow renaming thus moving objects inside ps3. If i get another manager (gaia manager or OM) do i have to move the files from GAMEZ folder and if so how am i suppose to do it with the fpt server?
