You have to have an original disk in and then click the BLu-Ray icon

Wow some pretty shit answers here.

When you have the game backed up, throw any disc into the disc drive, i just use my play tv disc. Then select the game you want to play (X) to load the game.

It will take you out to the main dash then select the game like you just inserted the real disc to play it.

It just emulates the real cd making the ps3 think that you have inserted the real disc.

You even get the cool background graphics when you hover on the disc for a while, Cool huh.

There are even exploits out there that you can install so you don't even need the disc. But i have heard that some games require some sort of blue ray disc in there.

I just stick to throwing my play tv disc in there and everything is fine.
