Backup To External Drive

Hi,

Now I think this may of been posted before but does the backup manager read partitions, I am going to create a second FAT32 partition but will it read it?

No

Only sees 1 partition. So make that drive 1 large partition or you're screwed

Could I use two partitions but store my PS3 stuff on first partition/

you will be fine as long as it on your first partition i think

I can confirm it works aslong as it is on first partition.

Now my second query. I have backed up Tiger Woods PGA '11 and Blue to an internal drive and they work fine, now when I backup to external drive they will not boot.

I load the game, it starts to load and the screen resolution changes to 720p like it should then it will just freeze, blank screen and the PS3 crashes.

Whats wrong? Could it be my drive?
