I have a slim 120GB PS3 with 3.55 KMEAW on it, and I simply want to play my own purchased game backups disc less. Is this possible? I used the latest version of MultiMAN (1.13.04) to copy the BD-ROM directly to my internal HDD but when I go to start it up without the disc inside it goes straight back to the XMB. Am I missing something or do some games not allow this? I'm trying to do it with Gran Turismo 5 and COD: Black Ops (haven't tried this game yet though).

You need to load the game in a BM first. Once it dumps you back to the xmb, you goto app_home and it will change into the game you just selected. Press X and it will load if it's compatible. Check PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home for comatibility.

So I should load GT5 up in MultiMAN with the disc first?

EDIT: Just tried launching GT5 from MM with the disc and it still goes back to XMB. And I can't even access the app_home folder without getting the error 80028F14.

Wow, you really haven't read anything. When I'm done here helping you, I expect you to start reading some information. Start here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f187/cfw...noobs-d-76406/

Anyway, you have to backup your game first. As GT5 has files over 4GB, you'll need to back it up to your internal. Load up MultiMan and put the GT5 disk in the drive. Select to copy the disk. It will ask you if you want it in /dev_hdd0/games/GAMES. Go ahead and say yes. Get something to eat, make love to the wife, etc. This will take some time. Once it's done, go ahead and remove the disk from the drive. You should see GT5 as an entry of something to load. Go ahead and press X on it (we're still in MultiMan). It will the ask if you want to direct boot. Say no. This will dump you back to the XMB. Now you need to go to /app_home/PS3_GAME. Stay on it for a second and you'll see it change into GT5. Press X to load.

Check PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home for compatibility to run diskless/disk, internal/external.

You really didn't read either then, because I've already copied the disk to my internal via MultiMAN.

I tried "no" now instead of saying yes to directly boot the game, and opening the folder actually did something now but I got a different error message and the second time I just got a black screen.
