Backing up PSN games –
09-12-2010,07:44 AM
Hi
First time post, long time trawler.
I have a PS3 40 gig fat model, previously upgraded to 80gig and when I did this upgrade and used the built in backup tool I had to redownload my PSN games.
Ive backed up the 80gig hdd and want to install my new 500gb hdd.
I have a few PSN purchased games that I want to keep eg. Super Street Fighter 2 HD.
Since there is no way to get online with 3.41 and redownload my PSN games I am wondering is there another way I can transfer them to the new hdd?
Thanks

When I used the backup tool last I didn't have to re-download anything from the PSN. I would recommend that because I'm pretty sure that's your only option at this point.
Unless you're able to run groove on your PS3 as it is and someone can point you in the direction of downloaded content on dev_hdd0.
