I was wondering if doing this will transfer some record or data of hacking into my normal PS3.

if im right then no. that data is stored within the playstations flash. when u backup to a different console all u copy over is the data on the hard drive like games, saves and downloaded content etc

    Jap Console/Wutang+Geohot patch CFW 3.55/Gaia Manager 2.04/WD 500gb HDD

    ... i did this :

    - backup data of an CFW 3.55 kwean
    - import to a ofw 3.55
    - all data was there including the 2 new buttons of the cfw and the homebrew programms
    - so i made a big mistake and i thought that the backup did restore the cfw too (because i couldnt understand that otherwise the new buttons can be there)
    - i fired the multiman to start a backup game and everything looks fine until the game (ACB) made an update - then freeze and after restart -> RSOD
    - shit

So i think you have to erase all homebrew data by hand after importing your stuff from a vfw backup.
