Assassins creed 3 on 3.55 kmeaw, trophy error.
Assassins creed 3 on 3.55 kmeaw, trophy error. –
So, this is my personal problem.
I've got a phat PS3 that runs on 3.55 kmeaw with a qa flag to bring back the Blu ray playback after I remarried the blu ray drive to the mainboard.
I don't play a lot of games, but recently I tried to start Assassins creed 3 of the internal hard drive (with the eboot fix ofc.).
Every time it gets past the initial loading screen(takes about 8 min on first startup) it gives an error: "Registration of trophies cannot be completed. The game will quit. (80010505)"
I think this is because it really needs the new firmware that contains the trophy data.
Another game I've got installed, uncharted 2, still runs fine.
Now I am looking for an fix, without losing the Blu ray playback! Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!
I can confirm Assasins creed 3 runs fine on 3.55 kmeaw coz I'm running it without problems.
As for the cause of your problem though - not sure. Bad rip maybe? It shouldnt be anything to do with the blu ray drive as I can play AC3 without any disc in the console.
Thanks for the reply.
I tried 2 different versions, and both failed.
I think it has something to do with the trophy system, as it does not occur on uncharted 3. (which I believe doesn't have trophies, correct me if I'm wrong)
Aside from it happening with assass3, what is the general cause of this error? (and even better, how do you fix it) Anybody know?
Sorry to bump the thread, but I really want to fix this! Anybody have some tips?
have you tried finding a new eboot patch? thats always first suggestion. i went through 3 eboot patches for fight night champion before it worked.

But now that you mention it, I don't exactly know what version it is, as I see patch 1.03 is out already... But I cannot find a proper Eboot fix! Only 1.02
