hi! i need to install a patch created to update the various clubs kits & emblems. is it ok to install? i found the patches via youtube and it points to a site called www.pes-patch.com.
appreciate fellow forumers advice before attempting it.

I have no idea how to do it too. Still trying to figure it out. I'm actually trying to patch the EPL but with so many patches on the site I really clueless as to where to start.

It basically fixes all the names and kits of all the teams with wrong kits/names (North London for Arsenal, London FC for Chelsea).

It's actually not too difficult to do. What I don't understand is why there is no bloody guide showing beginners how to do it.

Let me try and give you a really quick and brief one.

1. Download the Option file you would like to use (they should describe the contents, what they add/change)
2. Grab a USB flash drive and create a folder PS3/SAVEDATA
3. Extract all the contents of the downloaded Option file into the folder you created in step 2.
Note: The contents should be something like BLES0102xEEDIT, BLES0102xEMBLEM001. So by the end of this you should have many many folders all starting with BLES0102x.
4. Plug this USB into your PS3
5. Load up your PS3 and access the PS3 save data. Navigate to your USB flash disk (should be at the top) and copy (one by one) ALL the contents over from the USB disk to your PS3.
Note: If it asks to overwrite any data (most likely edit data), say yes.

It's amazing how we have to do it one by one and there's no option to just copy everything.

I've tried FTP-ing it and it doesn't work properly. You really have to do it one-by-one. If you try to FTP it, it will only partially work. If you have any pre-existing emblems/kits for teams which you then replace via FTP, they will work (ie. replacing).

If you want more information I can try and provide you with what I know.

Will copying & over writing the files also overwrite saved game process? eg. maybe i have played the master league for 1 week. will this patch cause me to replay from scratch?

No, because there is no master league data in the option files. And as long as you don't wipe out what you previously had then it's fine.
