Basically what it says in the tittle, i want to know if anyone is working on this, i can be patient for the most part, but right now i'm not in school and i don't have a job -__- sad, true, but I have come to peace with it for now. Anyways i cant get new games because of the lack of money for now so i'm hoping someone comes out with a cfw for us unlucky enough to have updated after 3.55 like i did -_- or ones who bought ps3s with fw 3.55+ already on it, and dont have a downgrader, like progskeet or e3, obviously if i had one of those this would not be my post.

its safe to assume someone is working on one i would say.... its probably not priority for most devs as it seems all priority is going to working out bugs in the new CFW's but patience is key in the Scene. i recommend trying to trade straight across with someone who has a >3.55 PS3
I've noticed most devs really don't say what they're working on, they just put out the finished work for all of us to enjoy.
I think they've figured out that if they set some sort of expectation like a specified date they would get harrassed if the dates weren't meant or even worse, never happened at all.

Any dev knowledgable enough would know that it would be a fruitless endeavor.

Sure if it would help lots of people, but the problem is there is only two ways to accomplish this. The first is to get the private keys used to sign the firmware, which is IMPOSSIBLE. The second is to find an exploitable flaw in the firmware, and the chances of that is very slim.

that is true but since chances are slim and not none i would think someone out there is working hard to figure this out :3

You may be waiting a very long time. It's already been nearly two years since Sony fixed this issue.
