    Nope, sorry. Only way is to send it in to Sony and hope they send you back a refurbished console with 3.55 or lower

    Sony should send you one. They check what's wrong with it until they actually do the fixing. Also, if you really want to get the ps3 fixed and you feel like soldering, Infectus 2 is only public known way to fix it. Tutorial in the technical discussion forum, but you need to find someone who uploaded a 3.55 or less or any fw dump of their ps3 to fix yours.
