Really would like to start updating/patching my backups. Has there been any progress? I've been looking around and not finding anything - hopefully I'm missing something!

There is a theory going around that you can apply updates via FTP.

    Dude.
My $0,02: I don't think this is the most appropriate place to discuss these things.

I hope something comes out so we can update games. Some games work better with an update such as Modnation Racers, so it would be nice to be able to update the games

What's the point of playing a backup of Modnation racers? The whole point of that game is to race online and you can't do that with a backup

I guess you can say the same thing about the XBOX 360, I was banned a long time ago from XBOX Live, doesn't bother me one bit since I Never used it. Just went online to download updates. I dont know anyone online to play against so I never got into the whole online experience. Besides, using a jailbreak can never be used online anyway, the second you jailbreak your already cutting yourself off of being online since Sony will soon enough ban people when they go online so mind as well enjoy being offline
